Jual to dehydrate Posco

It seems Jual Oram has no love for dollars so the Member of Parliament (MP) from Sundargarh is out to dehydrate the South Korean steel maker Posco in chasing for ‘Khandadhar’.
While Naveen’s alleged fatal attraction for dollars, through foreign direct investment (FDI) has apparently placed the Orissa’s biggest water fall on the plate of Posco, the tribal leader is in no mood to allow steel giant to gulp the same.
Jual is categorical in saying “Khandadhar will not be handed over to Posco, what ever come may”.
He said “The famous Khandadhar water fall and Khandadhar reserve forest are located within the boundary of the proposed leasehold area near Khandadhar hill”.
Though the state government has signed on the dotted lines that would allow Posco to have permission to destroy the rich bio-diversity of Khandadhar area, but it will not be allowed he asserted.
He said that in early 80’s there was a mass movement to save the precious bio diversity of Gandhmardan and on the same lines Khandadhar Protection Committee will be formed to save the lush green cover of the Khandadhar forests.
The tribal of the Sundargarh is in no mood to allow Khandadhar on the platter of Posco, Jual added.
Toeing the earlier line of Jual’s argument , BJP President Suresh Pujari questioned the intentions of Posco on the swapping clause in the memorandum of understanding (MOU).
Pujari said that Posco wants to export lump iron ores and interested to import fines.
But in the international market lump is costlier than fines, so it will be not in the interest of the state.
He demanded the swapping clause from the MOU should be deleted.
